What if 12 of your 24 words are exposed?

I'm considering giving 12 of my 24 word seed phrase to 2 family members (living in separate houses) so that should I die (which is likely, one day) they would be able to put those 2 x 12 words together to access my crypto.

Although I trust these family members to be reliable, and I would strongly emphasise to both of them the importance of keeping these 12 words secured somewhere safely and all the potential risks involved, obviously I can't 100% rely on another person to take as much care of these words as I do.

So let's say if hypothetically 12 of my 24 seed words were exposed: Is the risk of someone brute forcing the other 12 words as unlikely as if they were trying to brute force any random 12 word seed (i.e. close to impossible)? Or does having 12 of the 24 words somehow make it easier to crack the other 12?

Update: Thanks for all the helpful comments. I really appreciate it. Upvoted you all for taking the time to answer.

Kind Regards R
