Most cost efficient way to Hodl

I have a Ledger Nano S because I only have a couple very specific coins I look at and it has plenty of storage for what I need. I have been purchasing my crypto through coinbase pro- but there's fee for buying the crypto, then further fees for putting the crypto into my cold wallet. I expect any platform will have fees, but my main question is what system would provide the least amount of fees purchasing crypto to store in my cold wallet for the long term?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> Kind Regards R
