KeepKey Still Requiring a Registered Email Prior To Using
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>This has been addressed before and according to <a href="/u/KeepKeySupport">u/KeepKeySupport</a> this is <a href="https://np.reddit.com/r/keepkey/comments/cwnj8p/why_is_a_valid_email_required_to_use_keepkey_with/ezubrvl/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf">no longer necessary</a>, but as I was setting up my KeepKey I got <a href="https://imgur.com/3g39WnK">this error</a>. I was not even able to access the basic functionality of the hardware wallet until I created an account with ShapeShift. </p> <p>I'm a big advocate of Voorhees and I really wanted to like this wallet, but as it is I'm extremely disappointed with this email/account requirement.</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> Kind Regards R
