My Mortgage lender had no idea what cryptocurrency is.

I am closing on a house soon and my mortgage lender had no idea what cryptocurrency was. I had to explain to her the basics of what it was and why I considered it part of my "assets" in the loan application. She said that this was the first time she had seen this on an application. Later, she went on to say that she thinks she will need to understand it more because she had also recently gotten another application where the applicants had also listed crypto. Anyways, to the moon ? ? ?

submitted by /u/frostedPlan3t
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
