[Nano Foundation] v21.3 patch service release will go live today
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Nano Foundation's COO George Coxon announced in discord - </p> <blockquote> <p>Here’s an update on where we are with the v21.3 patch service release:</p> <ul> <li>Removed peer banning as this slowed syncing down to incorrectly banning good nodes</li> <li>256GB LMDB since the ledger is almost 50% of the current 128GB limit, this gives it more headroom</li> <li>Frontier age in frontier requests, this will make frontier requests only accounts with recent activity which will make those requests consume far less bandwidth. This is done a percentage of the time so it will occasionally request everything</li> <li>Rebroadcast blocks only if there is an election open.
