What are everyone's thoughts on Algorand?

I am pretty new to crypto and have invested some money into several coins, one of which being Algorand. I have heard a lot of positives about the project as well as the people backing it, but I would also like to hear people's concerns about it, especially in the long run (I plan on hodling for a while).
