Kraken appreciation post
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Holy crap guys, the short of it, I transferred USD to Coinbase Pro, bought XLM and transferred it to Kraken. But like the genius I am, I didn't realize what the Memo was when transferring XLM and just typed something stupid like "Kraken account". After furious page refreshing I realized what had happened, my Stellar was gone ? I frantically posted in the daily here and some said I'm out of luck but one person suggested opening a ticket with Kraken. I provided screenshots for proof of both of my accounts and the transfer date, time and amount, and they said because it was from a public address (or something along those lines) there was a 30 day waiting period before they can investigate. This all happened mid February but sure enough after a few followup emails from them they just deposited the XLM into my Kraken account and I'm so happy I didn't end up paying for my stupid stupid mistake! Always triple check when transferring crypto!
