How does Sia’s Skynet stack up against IPFS/Filecoin?

I’ve been spending a lot of time playing with IPFS. I build something in Node/React, pin my App with Piñata and then use Cloudflare’s gateway (which maintains a persistent Piñata connection) to serve the sites. I’ve honestly been surprised how well it all works...it’s pretty cool.

How does Skynet stack up? Is it more scalable? more decentralized? How do we feel about Sia’s token economics? I’m about to deep dive for myself but I thought I might see what you guys think too...

Kind Regards R
