Short term investing question.
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>So I just closed on a cash out refi to get cash for a pool. We ended up with $95k on the cash out. Question is I owe 20k at signing contract and there is a 3 month waiting period to start. Once they start I will owe more $$$, once they dig them more $$$, when they poor gunnite more $$$, and then final payment at finish. </p> <p>So question is should I invest the money for 2-3 months. It seems silly to just let 75k sit in the bank for a few months. That said I don’t want to invest it in something and lose 15-20% because of a major pull back in the market. If I do invest what would you invest in that is liquid enough to pull out fast. </p> <p>FWIW I have a vanguard brokerage account and just opened a TD Ameritrade account. I like TD better and thinking about moving my non retirement money from vanguard to TD. </p> <p>Looking for ideas. And no I’m not gonna yolo it a bunch of AMC options.
