Instead of investing in 401k inves into VT world stock
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>So my company doesn't do 401k match, is there any benefit to doing a 401k then? I can't find any info that says for example income tax rate (which is what 401k gains are tax on) is lower than capital gains rate.</p> <p>I know 401ks will have bonds and stuff so there's that, but VT is the most diversified stock ETF and I feel like it had more potential than bonds so instead of doing a 401k for retirement I just do this.
