Long-term fiat/crypto 'trading' foe a newby

Hi guys!I know it may be a silly question but I did my research and didn't find a straightforward answer.

Basically, I live in the EU and want to buy ETH or BTC with my EUR. Then, I want to keep the ETH/BTC I bought for some time (maybe a day, maybe a year - depending on whether it reaches the price level I expect it to reach). When (or if) it reaches the level I expected, I want to convert it to EUR and put back in my pocket.

It seems that I can do all of the above with Coinbase, Binance Jersey, Kraken, etc. I don't really care about a 0.15% difference in commissions because I'd only sell when I get a decent profit (let's say +20-30%). Could you please tell me if I'm missing something? I genuinely don't see the point of moving to a real trading platform such as Binance (not Jersey) for my purpose.

I would really appreciate any feedback.

Cheers!

p.s. apologies for a stupid typo in the title.

Kind Regards R
