Thoughts on Beanie Baby Stock? ($BEAN)

Hey guys, what are your thoughts on Beanie Baby Stock?

I initially began collecting physical Beanie babies as a hedge against inflation in 2021, but to make a long story short, the embarrassment of having a closet full of stuffed animals kind of ruined any hope of a lasting relationship.

I've basically doubled my profits from selling Beanie babies online from physical supplies (finding them at garage sales and selling them on Ebay and/or my grandma) but then I realized the cost of shipping, gas, and paying taxes nearly erased all my gains. In fact, I'm actually at a 35% loss if you don't include the lessons and friends I've made along the way.

Right now the stock price is $0.69 with 8 billion shares outstanding. The only thing that is temping me is the fact that Nancy Pelosi has a nearly a 30% stake, and I'm thinking it might have hidden government support. If they declare bankruptcy, maybe their ties with Washington will come in handy.

I know Beanie babies are a fad of the past, but they're an integral part of American culture. I think they were even on Pawn Stars once.

Thoughts? I'm thinking about throwing in $20,000.

submitted by /u/1GME10YEARHOLD
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
