My small protest/win against the banks…
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>About a year ago I opened an account with Monzo to use as a second account just for crypto. I used it as an intermediary transferring funds from my main bank to them, and fiat ramping from there on to exchanges, as my main bank had blocked payments to Binance amongst others. </p> <p>Last month Monzo informed me that they are going to close my account (and wouldn’t tell me why).</p> <p><a href="https://imgur.com/gallery/5eclFiV">https://imgur.com/gallery/5eclFiV</a></p> <p>Anyway, in the UK there is a “bank switching service” that you can use to move from one account to another and they typically pay you around £100-150 as an incentive. </p> <p>I used the switching service to move the account across to another bank and today received confirmation that my £150 had tracked. So I put it into ETH.
