30k just sitting in savings-- what to do with it?

30k savings -- what to do with it? Invest it in the stock market? Buy a piece of property? What's my best option here seeing as inflation is making it worth less and less the longer it sits in my bank account.

And assuming inflation continues what's the safest investment option here? I have no experience in stocks/bonds/ or what kind of options exist.

I don't need access to this money and want to keep it as an investment "long term" -- so minimum 5 years.

This whole inflation thing makes me nervous and I am risk adverse --so prefer safest option with less Gains as opposed to high risk with potential too lose this nest egg.

submitted by /u/Logical-Shelter-9547
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
