The Wall Street Journal are currently saying that because Crypto hasn't allowed Russ

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>The mad double standards applied to crypto seem to be continuing today.</p> <p>I was left somewhat opened mouthed when the WSJ posted this...</p> <p><a href="https://www.wsj.com/articles/if-crypto-cant-be-used-to-evade-russian-sanctions-what-is-the-point-11649763827?mod=business_major_pos10">https://www.wsj.com/articles/if-crypto-cant-be-used-to-evade-russian-sanctions-what-is-the-point-11649763827?mod=business_major_pos10</a></p> <p>Basically, they claim that because Crypto hasn't been used extensively by Russia to bypass economic sanctions, crypto itself has failed.</p> <p>Yet it was the WSJ that only recently reporting about the dangers of crypto being used to avoid sanctions, and how that would be terrible and necessitate further crypto crackdowns.</p> <p><a href="https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/russia-ukraine-latest-news-2022-03-21/card/european-central-bank-says-russians-use-crypto-to-bypass-sanctions-UatArIBsW9h8pfiXVuGD">https://www.wsj.com/livecoverage/russia-ukraine-latest-news-2022-03-21/card/european-central-bank-says-russians-use-crypto-to-bypass-sanctions-UatArIBsW9h8pfiXVuGD</a></p> <p>And this is it in a nutshell. No matter what happens with crypto, the powers that be will always spin it as a negative.</p> <p>Crypto helps avoid sanctions. Crypto bad.</p> <p>Crypto doesn't help avoid sanctions. Crypto bad.</p> <p>It's truly laughable.</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/TrueSpins"> /u/TrueSpins </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/u1xagr/the_wall_street_journal_are_currently_saying_that/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/u1xagr/the_wall_street_journal_are_currently_saying_that/">[comments]</a></span>Kind Regards R
