Why hasn't Big Tech adopted crypto in a Big Way?
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>When computers, the Internet or email first emerged, the value they presented was self-evident.</p> <p>This is why the growth of these technologies was exponential.</p> <p>A modern example would be Artificial Intelligence and ML, the value and practical applications - self-driving, machine translation, robotics and so forth are easy to see and understand.</p> <p>As such, AI and ML is every day more and more integrated into our daily lives.</p> <p>Google, Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Tesla, Nvidia, Samsung, Intel....</p> <p>I cannot think of a single meaningful Blockchain project from any of these companies. Which is not a little side project for pleasing the teenage son of a big shareholder.</p> <p>If Ethereum is the world computer, then why aren't any of the tech giants using it?</p> <p>I personally believe the <strong>only self evident</strong> value of blockchain is a decentralised, permissionless payment gateway. And Bitcoin already does this, and has done for a while - it's success is debatable.</p> <p>People also like to say that it's "early days", but we can say objectively that's not true.
