I created the Reddit Crypto Index and it will face against a Crypto Tech Index. And

So I talked with the founder of a crypto analysis website (<a href="https://www.quantintegral.com">quantintegral.com</a>) and we brainstormed how we could wrap the reddit crypto community into a crypto index. At the basic level you can think of an index as a basket which holds different projects and has a predefined start value. For us it was important that each reddit user could have an impact to the index and the Red Crypto Index was born:</p> <ul> <li>Each month 7 cryptocurrencies with the most subreddit subscribers are selected</li> <li>Due to liquidity: crypto projects needs to be in the top ~35 on coinmarketcap</li> <li>If a coin goes out of the index then its value will be distributed between the rest</li> </ul> <p>I will treat this as an experiment and will track it long term. Since I don’t trust you guys blindfolded but still want to make it spicy I will monthly DCA 20$ into each of the coins in the Red Crypto Index. Yesterday the Red Index went live and I had to stomach when I saw it. It was the first time I bought shitcoins I was always against: DOGE and SHIB; I still feel filthy from buying it… I hope it gets better with time.</p> <p>To compare this result I will also track the Crypto Tech Index of <a href="https://www.quantintegral.com">quantintegral.com</a>. They have their own criteria to track the development in the crypto space - it consists of the following coins:</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/v6jy5wdwehl91.png?width=388&format=png&auto=webp&s=62852192c992f632ab7d12c5c5d28edbb2ca9169">QI Index: ETH, DOT, AVAX, BNB, ADA, MATIC, MIOTA </a></p> <p>Here I felt a bit better, most of these coins I've heard at least something positive . Here I will also monthly DCA 20$ into each of these coins.
