What i learned from my yolo mistakes in crypto
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hey fellas i was addicted to a gacha game but during covid i said enough is enough and decided to invest the money i would normally spend in the game on stocks instead. Then the pandemic bull run happened and decided to switch to crypto instead. Not wanting to invest into blue chips (since i tought they wouldnt go up that high since they already went up by like 80% , this was the time that btc was at 48k+) i decided to find the next hottest thing on the market which we all know at the time was stuff like doge. But that also just hit like 80 pennies so i said fuck that ill look at something else. Then i saw alot of posts here and there talking about our lovely token "Safemoon" (yes mistakes were made). As newbie in the crypto space i tought 'waw this thing has alot of potential ' and for some reason was blinded by it. </p> <p>Months passed by of accumating this token but every month that passed made it harder to believe in the project. Eventually when the bear market really started happening (while sfm was already down 80%) i said enough is enough and took out at a pretty big loss (at the time for me, Like 1-2k loss). and started looking more into top 50 coins and my eyes finally opened that there are other projects that have so much potential and are actually not full with assholes that talk out of their arses (shocking, i know) . </p> <p>Now with sfm being my first crypto i dived into i sometimes go back to their sub or twitter and it really saddens me how desperate these people are trying to convince everyone their token is the best thing ever and that everyone that tells them otherwise is just a dumb fudder which doesnt know shit about fuck.</p> <p>Hopium wont save your coin unless some crazy billionaire tweets about it. If youre new to crypto dont think that some crazy token will be the next big thing surely if it is hyped like crazy. After the hype spike all it will do is die down and lose many, many % in price. Hopium wont save it no matter how many times you post '???' on social media. (Unless youre elon musk, then it might actually go up) .</p> <p>Always do your own research and never let your feelings take over.
