What the best questions to ask an investment advisor? + Advice needed! ??

Here is what I know so far. </p> <p>She says…“I only charge 1% PER YEAR for any fund’s invested - so $10 a year for year $1000 under management-I don’t charge anything for building a budget or financial planning itself” </p> <p>And that she manages her own customer accounts. </p> <p>If someone could be patient with me and breakdown some of the important things here?
