Have you planned an exit strategy?

My post is not suggesting a full 100% exit strategy. I like to believe that like me the vast majority of people in this sub will be in crypto for their entire life. Yet I do feel we all need to set a goal when it comes to profits. Personally my goal is very long term (decade 1/2 ish) and I am about a quarter into that goal. When that timeline is met I hope a lot of my investments have at least 10xd, My plan at the time would be to remove a 1/4 of gains back to fiat or stable coins and give my self some rewards for being so incredibly brave to invest and risk so much in crypto.

Your plan may be different that mine. It might be better or worse but at least you have a plan and a goal. To those that have invested in crypto I strongly recommend you do the same because if you don't you could find yourself in a situation where you are simply emotionally attached to a project and this can blind you from profiting at the right time. If you want to know when is the right time? The right time is when you set your goal to? Be it a number or a date. This will make your decision a lot easier.

We will all need to cash some crypto out at some point. Until the dollar and global economies collapse that is what we got to work with. Maybe in the future things will change. I just know that I have been in this thing long enough to understand that I need a goal and timeline for my mental sanity and peace. It has made me a better investor IMO. It has also helped me understand better what I am doing and what I am here. What am I looking for? What project to invest? What does it do?

To recap I humbly suggest to you without an exit plan to start thinking about it. Even if its partial. Life comes at you fast guys. We know this so make sure you are prepared to not be emotionally attached awaiting that project to do what they promised but you have 10xd and then miss out on cashing that baby out. Even if its some of it.

This was my weekend recommendation . Best of luck

submitted by /u/Visible-Ad743
[link] [comments]
