Can a Stateless Person be an Investor in any Market Around the World? Is there any r

For philosophical reasons, I'm thinking of abdicating my current nationality to become Stateless, and those are my personal reasons alone, I'm not saying other people should follow my example, but my reasons are deeply personal and important to me. I don't really plan to get another nationality when I move elsewhere (yes, where I live they give off a golden passport called a 'Foreigner Passport' to the Stateless) and yes I will go somewhere safe for someone in my condition (particularly thinking about Australia or New Zealand) but my question is; would that prevent me from becoming an investor? I also wish to soon start investing and have read online that some countries give away passports to Stateless Investors, although I'm not interested in gaining another nationality, with that permission I assume the Stateless would be allowed to invest elsewhere too, or am I mistaken and that's special permission regarding only a few locations around the globe?

Particularly I wish in the European, North American, and Japanese markets, so any insight on those locations about Stateless Investors would be very much appreciated! And also, thank you for your time! I hope I didn't make a wrong impression, and for that, I avoided speaking about where I'm from, and whether I chose or not to take on this endeavor in the future, I would still appreciate an honest answer to this doubt I have, if I ever meet another Stateless somewhere I could also inform them on this matter. Anyways, have a great day!

submitted by /u/HippolytusVirbius
[link] [comments]
