Scam Warning - Razebit
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Hi I am not sure if this is allowed exactly, but I haven't seen any info about it yet and I want to warn about a well made scam attempt.</p> <p>Today I got a discord PM saying I won 0.36 BTC. Obviously I know it's a scam, but I went onto a vpn and with a trash email account to see whats up.</p> <p>The discord message simply said to make an account on razebit.com and then enter this code to receive 0.36BTC. The website itself is a fairly well made and official looking exchange website. They clearly went though a lot of effort for this scam.</p> <p>I entered the code and what do you know my account balances shows 0.36 BTC. </p> <p>When you go to withdraw of course though I get an error saying new account isn't verified until you deposit at least 0.02 BTC.</p> <hr/> <p>I just wanted to make this to hopefully prevent anyone from falling for it. Since the website is so well made I worry at least some people might get trigger happy and send $180 worth of BTC to these guys. Obviously once you do that, that's it you won't be able to withdraw anything.</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> Kind Regards R
