How to spot a shill on r/cryptocurrency
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I saw one of these helpful guides for bot spotting on another subreddit, so I thought I'd pass it forward and enlighten you on what I've learned about <strong>shill</strong> spotting since joining <em>this</em> sub-reddit.</p> <p><strong>Classic shill tells:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Do they have an opinion that is different from your own? Shill.</li> <li>Are they questioning the utility of a project you like? DEFINITELY a shill.</li> <li>How much Karma do they have? If it's less than you have - for sure they're a shill.</li> <li>Do they have <em>more</em> Karma than you? Deep shill.</li> <li>Are they telling you to buy? They're a shill for some whale who wants to sell.</li> <li>Are they telling you to sell? They're CLEARLY a shill for some whale who wants to buy.</li> <li>Are they telling you to be smart and do your own research? They're probably a shill for some new crypto university or something.</li> </ul> <p>I would know, I'm a confirmed shill.
