Cypherpunk Hal Finney, a legend.
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>I really feel like not a lot of people are aware of Hal Finney and more people should know about him.</p> <p>If you dont know what a cypherpunk is then Wikipedia explains it as "A cypherpunk is any individual advocating widespread use of strong cryptography and privacy-enhancing technologies as a route to social and political change".</p> <p>I have concluded a few facts about Hal Finney.</p> <ul> <li><p>He received the first BTC transaction from “Satoshi Nakamoto".</p></li> <li><p>He was a cryptography enthusiast and had been in it way longer before the idea of bitcoin.</p></li> <li><p>In 2004 he contributed to the first creation of a reusable proof of work system. This would help in creation of BTC in the future.
