r/wallstreetbets started a crypto sub. It was inevitable.

<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>So <a href="/r/wallstreetbets">r/wallstreetbets</a> announced a new sub (<a href="https://np.reddit.com/r/wallstreetbets/comments/ptet7q/on_crypto_redux/">link</a>) to discuss cryptocurrency due to “high demand”. It’s funny because the sub used to hate cryptocurrency and censor everything crypto related, but of course we all know it was inevitable.</p> <p>It draws to my attention that:</p> <ul> <li>“Wallstreetbets” and “crypto” are contradicting terms in the first place</li> <li>The sub is filled with memes only. Nothing substantial and no posts relevant to crypto. Also, <a href="/r/cryptocurrencymemes">r/cryptocurrencymemes</a> has better memes than the sub will ever have</li> <li>Not really surprised, but <a href="/r/wallstreetbetscrypto">r/wallstreetbetscrypto</a> has the same childish behavior and infantile sense of humor</li> <li>There already is a great sub for cryptocurrency. It’s called <a href="/r/cryptocurrency">r/cryptocurrency</a>.</li> </ul> <p>What do you guys think?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/pepperonimilkjuice5"> /u/pepperonimilkjuice5 </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ptpxgd/rwallstreetbets_started_a_crypto_sub_it_was/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/ptpxgd/rwallstreetbets_started_a_crypto_sub_it_was/">[comments]</a></span>Kind Regards R
