I've always invested in hard assets like food, medical supplies, and tools. I'm thin

I've got enough food (which I've always bought while on sale) to last me and my family for about a year. I've also bought plenty of tools (investment for my personal construction side business), seeds (for growing my gardens) , and general emergency/outdoor supplies. I've got around $20 000 in my savings account. I'm looking to diversify my cash assets (to protect against inflation) into things like silver, gold, and cryptocurrencies, but I don't really know where to start. I'm going to start out with about $5000-$7000 and see what happens. I was thinking invest 1500-2000 into hard silver/gold to hide, another 1500-2000 into gold/silver stocks, and 2-3000 into cryptos.
