In less than a week crypto has went from being perceived as the 'nerdy magic interne

Title says it all, despite all the advances that crypto has been through over the last year with government bodies passing regulations legitimising crypto all over the planet and institutions pushing forward with more and more use cases and support both verbally and financially that even as recent as last week people are still making the same ol' crypto bro comments whenever the topic is even remotely brought up.

And yet this week those snide, uneducated jokes at our expense have suddenly evaporated away as they have been swept aside by people sending money in a legitimate transfer to Ukraine while people are having open, serious discussion regarding Russia using it as an alternative currency to circumvent political sanctions on fiat trading.

Everything else aside this may very well be the turning point in how the public view crypto forever. The doge coins and memes of the past being the rage comics of the early internet days, now seen as cringe and very old fashioned to reference, even ironically.

Additionally, the removal of the general negative public perception should be the green light for more companies / governments to crack on and push hard into the crypto space so we should expect some serious, actual use cases emerging very soon in all fields.

submitted by /u/xavierwest888
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
