The SEC just suprisingly ended their discovery process, signaling that the Ripple-SE

The discovery process is where both parties exchange information to each other. Ending that is a major step forward in the lawsuit. Showing that the lawsuit may conclude very soon.</p> <p>The only two things stopping the lawsuit from concluding are basic scheduling and an appeal to not use the Hinman Emals as evidence in the lawsuit.</p> <p>The Hinman emails are from former SEC executive Hinman, who apperantly had a major personal interest in calling the XRP a security and Ethereum not in the same speech. His speech has been key for Ripple to call on Secs personal interest in the regulations.</p> <p>This request was already rejected by the Judge but now SEC is trying to file an objection against that decision from the Judge.
