Bogle heads are getting on my nerve. Been learning that equities are the way.

I’m starting to get pretty sick of the bogle head mentality. Buy everything and be simple. Lose out on the wealth of individual companies when you can buy the whole market. Buying the whole market is good for not taking risks and building wealth slowly and steadily but there’s basically no risk and you’re guaranteed to retire slower and not have more wealth sooner and less wealth. Every single one of them are like buy VT/VTI and chill lol. You could have bought COST along with other businesses that you see in your everyday life and made more returns. AAPL like literally any good company they could buy but no. Warren buffet doesn’t even invest in indexes. Bogleheads are getting on my nerves.. why buy and get 10% a year when there’s more out there. They just need to actually think but I guess the people investing in the jack bogle style don’t really do that or know what companies are actually good.

Indexes are probably best for 401ks if you don’t have a brokerage link 401k but other that that I don’t think indexes should be a large part of your portfolio or small part like 5% or even 0%.

Edit
