Does anyone use crypto faucets?

For those that don’t know, crypto faucets are where you get very free drops of crypto to your wallet, so ‘free money.’ There are thousands of them but I’m curious if anyone actually really uses them.

I know that the Algo faucet is quite popular and simple. I usually get less than about .001 ALGO ($0.0003), and since you only enter your address once a week and get it automatically everyday, you get about $0.0021 a week; totaling $0.10 in a year. Idk if it’s just me, but that doesn’t seem worth it. There are definitely better ones but they’ll probably only give less than a few pennies a day. I know that those Banano faucets pay much more, but is the time worth it?

So my question is, does anyone here actually use it and why? Don’t get me wrong, faucets are a very unique thing in crypto but I see no point of them unless you just want to hold a very small amount of all cryptos possible.

submitted by /u/apnl3
[link] [comments]
