Kraken VS Binance

I just started using the Kraken exchange for the first time and I must say that I am very surprised.

After more than two years of constant use of Binance, which I stopped using due to their KYC verification (I was a verified user for all time since begining i bought crypto there for more then 10K and after this FTX collapse, I received warnings that unless I verified myself again, I would not be able to continue using platform). I decided that this time I will not send my personal data to Asia again and therefore I was looking for a new exchange where I can regularly buy my favorite coins and keep DCAing.

I spent a long time looking for information about where to buy without KYC, the advantages and disadvantages of different well-known exchanges and so until I finally tried Kraken and I must admit that I am very satisfied. Compared to Binance, the application is much cooler, faster, prettier, you can buy from 10€ (Binance - 15€) and their "policy" seems to be fine as well. Also BTC withdrawal fees are really nothing against Binance and they don’t have their own native token - i think that every exchange token is a … little “scamy”

Of course, I had to do a simple KYC using a driver's license and one selfie, but compared to Binance's requirements, it was completely fine. I send my cryptocurrencies to Trezor after buying a certain value, but Kraken is a great choice for regular purchases in my opinion.

Has anyone had any bad experiences with this exchange? This is only my personal experience … maybabe it looks like SHILLING but thats not the point.

submitted by /u/Elrondarius
[link] [comments]
