My brokerage is going to give me 1% match on any rollover funds from an IRA or 401k
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>This sounds too good to be true. They're ready to pay me a nice chunk of money to rollover? Can anyone think of a catch? </p> <p>I'm retired already and not contributing to my ira or 401k anymore. I like the idea of having my retirement accounts separate from my brokerage but it's all insured money so maybe I should just take the 1%. I'm curious what others in this sub would do. Thanks for any advice.</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Pyrraxe"> /u/Pyrraxe </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/12582yd/my_brokerage_is_going_to_give_me_1_match_on_any/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/12582yd/my_brokerage_is_going_to_give_me_1_match_on_any/">[comments]</a></span>
