How have you benefited as a result of being on this sub?

We declare that this sub is only good for shit and giggles and half-jokingly, half-seriously warn others that we should do the inverse of what the sub recommends. While this is true to a certain extent, I have actually levelled up my crypto game as a result of being in this sub.

Needless to say, the shift of moons to Mainnet is foremost on my mind. I didn’t even actively use my MetaMask wallet then, but thanks to the several comprehensive guides on the sub, I not only managed to import my moons into a new MetaMask wallet, but even gained some ETH Arbitrum Nova as a result of a faucet that gave some ETH Nova dust. Subsequently, I learnt about the existence of Orbiter Finance. This was a godsend because I could immediately swap my ETH across blockchains instantly rather than wait for seven days if I were to use the official Arbitrum One - Arbitrum Nova bridge.

Yesterday, my heart sank when I realised that SushiSwap had been exploited. But before I had time to panic, people were already spreading the word about revoke.cash and urging one another to revoke permissions in the MetaMask wallets so as to safeguard their assets. I would never have the capacity to find revoke.cash on my own even if I knew that I had to revoke permissions. It is truly times like this that this sub is a wonderful live resource. Thanks and keep the sharing going. Sharing is caring!

How have you benefited as a result of being on this sub?

submitted by /u/cryotosensei
[link] [comments]
