Don't get emotionally attached to the coin(s) you're investing in

What I often see here on Reddit and everywhere else is that once someone invests in an altcoin they become emotionally attached to it. The problem is that primarily you're here to make money. But many alts fail, and a lot of people are just way too obsessed with their precious chosen cryptocurrency to sell at a loss. Instead they ride it for years until it hits zero.

With alts you take a lot more risks, but to be honest, not a fucking soul knows which one will explode this year or next year. I've seen many people holding their altcoins from 2017, and their portfolio just kept decreasing slowly but steadily. They could've gotten out in time, and easily 2X or 3X with this bullrun with different coins. But they are so emotional about their 2017 shitcoins they are literally unable to let go of them.

Don't be that guy. Sell at a loss if you have to, because cutting your losses is still better than $0.

P.s.: Not talking about dips here, but when the market is up 200% in a year and your coin is not even on Coinmarketcap with -10% last month, you should reconsider your portfolio.

submitted by /u/Weaver96
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
