If you bought the top and are holding, why arent you buying more?

You make the decision that you will hold at a loss instead of selling as you believe that BTC will probably one day return to this price, and not go to zero. You decide to forget about your crypto and return next time you see it on breaking new all time highs. But you do believe it will go up right? So why aren't you buying more? What's changed?
