My mother tried to buy crypto without me and was scammed by an imposter website.

A month ago I told her what I think good investments are and buying it really isn't that complicated, I can show you whenever you want. </p> <p>Today I called her and she told me she bought some ETH today... my mom is not tech savy at all. When I was 12 years old I had to do all the ebay stuff for her if that puts it into perspective. </p> <p>I asked her where and how did she buy it? She said she forgot the name but they will be sending a letter in the mail with her invoice and "new wallet". </p> <p>Oh god mom... I'm assuming that receipt and wallet will never come. I didn't tell her she was scammed because she's already old and she knows her cognitive abilities are slowly fading. I don't want her to feel embarrassed or stupid. </p> <p>Watch your parents and old family members and make sure to help them if they are interested in this stuff. They need to know about the risks. Many people seem to think scams are obvious, because back in 2005, scams were pretty obvious.
