What does one invest in if you're concerned about the government defaulting?

However, there are enough lunatics in the Senate that if someone takes some "stand on principle" they could force the United States into a state of default even for an hour. Would that matter? I truly don't know but it's just as likely to do nothing as cause absolute pandemonium.</p> <p>So if you want to hedge against a government default what would you invest in?
