State of the Moons Address (Round 18)

Decided to make this post to highlight some (hopefully) interesting trends, graphs, and statistics since round 18 distribution has completed.</p> <h1>Karma and Price Trends</h1> <p>The white line below is Moons/Karma and the red line is $USD/Karma. No price data is available before round 6 on Coingecko, which is why there's missing data. But as you can see while Moons/Karma has drastically decreased, $USD/Karma has been holding steady for the last few months at ~$0.05/Karma!</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/2if4fp3kh3s71.png?width=2332&format=png&auto=webp&s=652c49da9d161076d623825611747d2e9e97c6bb">Karma and $ Ratios</a></p> <p>Over the last 30d, Moons have underperformed the market at -32%. Top gainers among coins I analyzed were at +73% and +46% respectively.</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/svdbau9mh3s71.png?width=2322&format=png&auto=webp&s=71155f1e3613b8410b6d659989c42aa13e8ca5b6">30d Prices</a></p> <p>However, zooming out a bit to the 90d graph we see a better performance for Moons with +70% gain, trailing only a few projects</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/93j0evzmh3s71.png?width=2316&format=png&auto=webp&s=367e7b072918574ebda77e1b84c73ac2cf21b594">90d Prices</a></p> <h1>Vaults and Balances</h1> <p>The number of vaults has continued to grow steadily, and we're now at ~93k!</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/251u3bykh3s71.png?width=2322&format=png&auto=webp&s=191d5ace22460cf5579d60eb1202d2c15f18d81d">Vault Growth</a></p> <p>I created Whale Tiers for fun based on Moons balances. Right now Krakens rule the ocean and hold 11.7% of Moons among Redditors. Not too far behind are 2614 turtles and 1077 Swordfish!</p> <p><a href="https://preview.redd.it/0psi3ywqh3s71.png?width=2322&format=png&auto=webp&s=eb9851a63c50c48845d5d0d049c08fd8cb5535cb">Whale Tiers</a></p> <h1>Tipping</h1> <p>Tipping has slowed down a bit since the battle between the two top tippers <a href="/u/LargeSnorlax">u/LargeSnorlax</a> and <a href="/u/Xrporbust">u/Xrporbust</a> cooled off.
