Cosmos will be the next hot project and possibly one of the most popular contenders

Cosmos has been one of very few coins to pump like crazy (I am talking 9% to 20% on the daily) while the market experienced huge dips. At the same time, Cosmos has also enjoyed an increase of 51% the past week. </p> <p>Reason why I think this coin will do even better in 2022 and possibly become one of the main coins of the year is thanks to its efforts to bring interoperability among different Blockchains and ecosystems. As the industry evolves and becomes more mainstream there will be a need for blockchains to communicate with each other. This is needed for higher scalability and the survival of blockchain in the future, something Cosmos could solve.</p> <p>Honestly, I don't think anyone would let blockchain die and because we have the solution right Infront of us imagine the desperation for it to be used. Cosmos is already hosting the Binance chain, Crypto (dot) com chain and the Terra chain and it shows just how powerful this project actually is.</p> <p>Another factor that will probably drive Cosmos to new highs is the release of Interchain Security this year. This will basically allow Cosmos chains like Terra, Crypto (dot) com and Binance Chain to lease securities to each other which will drive up the rewards for validators and delegators. Liquid staking will also be released by February which will let ATOM investors to instantaneously transform their bonded holdings into transferable tokens for use in liquidity pools and other activities.
