Polkadot (DOT) is incredibly undervalued. Tomorrow, its first parachain becomes trad
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Polkadot has been sitting in the Top 10 doing NOTHING for almost two years, but it's finally waking up. 5 chains are launching in the upcoming weeks. The first, <strong>Moonbeam (GLMR)</strong>, has a public launch date of the <strong>11th</strong>. <a href="https://moonbeam.network/networks/moonbeam/launch/#:%7E:text=stability%20and%20security.-,January%2011,-%2C%202022%20(est.">Source</a>%C2%A0).</p> <p>Four more in the weeks after - <strong>Acala</strong>, <strong>Parallel</strong>, <strong>Astar, and Clover Finance</strong> (but they're <a href="https://github.com/w3f/Grants-Program/pull/317#issuecomment-818627084">shady</a>). 100 parachains total launching on it over the next few months. Every single one will result in more DOT getting locked up for 2 years because of DOT's crowdloan mechanism - <a href="https://polkadot.js.org/apps/?rpc=wss%3A%2F%2Frpc.polkadot.io#/parachains/crowdloan">https://polkadot.js.org/apps/?rpc=wss%3A%2F%2Frpc.polkadot.io#/parachains/crowdloan</a></p> <p>This is seriously a no brainer. Cardano has a 50% higher market cap with just a few smart contracts running on it. I would <strong>not</strong> be telling you DOT was undervalued if they were the same market cap. Yesterday, I asked <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/">r/CryptoCurrency</a> to compare ADA and DOT. <a href="https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rzj5np/a_year_ago_cardano_and_polkadot_were_perceived_as/"><strong>Here's how I asked the community.</strong></a> Judge for yourself if I was biased in how I wrote the question, but look through the comments. ADA is getting taken out to the cleaners.</p> <p>This is a legitimate opportunity that I've waited several years to occur.</p> <p>Just keep it in mind and see you on the <strong>11th</strong>.</p> <p><strong>Additional Resources:</strong> </p> <ul> <li><a href="https://medium.com/electric-capital/electric-capital-developer-report-2021-f37874efea6d">2021 Electrical Capital Report on Developer Trends</a> (pg 94/95)</li> <li><a href="https://np.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rc3i25/the_tech_dot_brings_to_our_ecosystem_is_the_same/">ELI5 - Why is DOT's tech relevant?</a></li> <li><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rar2et/polkadot_dot_is_incredibly_undervalued_parachains/">List of DOT Facts</a></li> </ul> <p></p> <p></p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/MeoMix"> /u/MeoMix </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rzx79w/polkadot_dot_is_incredibly_undervalued_tomorrow/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/rzx79w/polkadot_dot_is_incredibly_undervalued_tomorrow/">[comments]</a></span>Kind Regards R
