Advice for entering the crypto industry

I have a computer science, physical science, and business background and an interest in joining the crypto industry. I see this industry growing in the future and there is a lot of opportunity for high paying job prospects. However, I don't know how to get started with entering the industry.

In terms of finding a job, should I learn a coding language to enter the industry? For example, I know ethereum uses solidity as their language. I've found resources online to learn solidity, so perhaps this is a good starting point. However, this seems like it would only be valuable to ethereum. Is there another language that I could learn that is useful to multiple cryptos? My current computer science skills are mainly with python and a some matlab.

Is there another way to enter the industry that I haven't mentioned? I'd appreciate any feedback. If you know of any companies currently hiring or resources to crypto-related coding languages please let me know.

Kind Regards R
