Don't bet your family farm on crypto but don't just invest what you can afford to lo

So you must have heard stories of people betting all their saving on a random meme coin and making life-changing money, but remember they are a few, very few infact. And for each such person, there are countless who lost everything in this gamble.

But also the fundamentaly strong projects take time to develop and hence their price trends up with time methodically and normally not just shoots up like these shitcoins. These great projects can make you good amount of money but only if you invest a reasonable amount at the first place and hold for long term.

The middle path is very simple. First, remeber the protocols like Bitcoin and Ethereum are not going anywhere. There price will not go to zero. They will remain here for years to come.

So decide what % of your portfolio you want to invest in different asset classes. Decide how much of it you want to invest in crypto which I think should be atleast 30%, if you want conservative portfolio, just my opinion. Do your research and choose some good projects. You will not lose money and will make some good gains over long term.

PS- Mind the flair, its discussion not advice.

submitted by /u/diwalost
[link] [comments]Kind Regards R
