Dow and Nasdaq headed in opposite directions
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Seems like most days the 3 major indices (Dow, SP500 and Nasdaq) all move in the same relative direction. Today 2.5 hours before the close we have the Dow up +1.11% and the Nasdaq down -1.06%. The SP500 which has become tech-heavy is down -0.15%.</p> <p>I don't recall seeing a day like this ever, where we have such a wide disparity in the direction of the Dow and Nasdaq. Any thoughts? Anybody thinking now is the time to double-down on tech?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> submitted by <a href="https://www.reddit.com/user/Interesting-Fuel238"> /u/Interesting-Fuel238 </a> <br/> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/yey4gr/dow_and_nasdaq_headed_in_opposite_directions/">[link]</a></span> <span><a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/investing/comments/yey4gr/dow_and_nasdaq_headed_in_opposite_directions/">[comments]</a></span>
