A rant about a change of address

So, I just had to change my address (in the US) and update it with god knows how many different companies / services / authorities / etc. must have been close to 50 all together wasting hours/days of my time.

Can we not have a global decentralized encrypted profile standard that we can provide access keys to these companies. Then when we update some information, they all update at once.

Can be everything: personal, medical, employment, financial, etc.

I’m sure there are crypto projects that promise this golden standard protocol, but who are truly working on it?

Kind Regards R
