Usually you can measure that with on-chain data that shows when some coins were last moved. This is also used for the so-called HODL waves which are a very good metric to show you when the short-term or long-term holders are selling and also why to see which one are smarter ones.</p> <p>Though it is not really a mystery that the longest holders are the smarter ones as they have just gathered more experience in the market, namely those that held for more than 5 years which is an astronomical time-period in Crypto.
