For many of us this has been to just HODL or even DCA and buy the dip to decrease your average purchase price, which is pretty solid too. But others have also been saying that it is way easier, why don‘t we just hold and forget about it completely to then profit off it in a few years time?</p> <p>It may sound so simple and with nearly no effort but that is just not how investing really works but rathe gambling. </a></p> <p>If you had bought LUNA during the beginning of this bear market, even before the UST collapse as many did, you would today be sitting with similar -99% losses.</p> <p>All of that could easily be prevented by keeping one eye, occasionally, on the latest big Crypto news. You don‘t have to be 24/7 on this sub but checking in every second day for a few minutes would decrease the chances of such a scam taking your Investment down by a lot. Not to forget, you could even lose ALL your holdings if an exchange like FTX collapse.
