New crypto phobia unlocked, Be careful when dragging your mouse!

They asked if it was possible that someone could generate the same address with just a few characters switched around. While we know it is possible that some addresses can be generated with the same first and last characters, generating an address with all but a few characters swapped is highly unlikely.</p> <p>The user then goes on to speculate after receiving feedback:</p> <blockquote> <p>I think I must've somehow clicked my mouse when pasting the address, and dragged one of the characters 2 places, because my address changed from <code>C4D</code> -> <code>DC4</code>. Can't believe I did it without noticing and hate myself for not doing a smaller transaction first. oh well. Thanks for your reply!</p> </blockquote> <p>So if you have a habit of moving your mouse across the address to double check it, be very careful you don't accidently drag and move a few characters!
