Is Brave Browser safe? Who/what is Uphold?

I've heard the name a fair bit around, but I just want to make sure it is as it claims.</p> <p>​</p> <p>Also, while setting it up, it asked me to verify and then suddenly I was KYCing at some place called Uphold. I have no idea who Uphold is or why I was suddenly transferred there and asked to give my ID info, but it put me heavily on the defensive.</p> <p>​</p> <p>Who the hell is Uphold? </p> <p>What is the relationship to Brave?</p> <p>​</p> <p>I'm hoping some of you guys here can tell me if this is safe/legit or if there are any security concerns with Brave or Uphold. </p> <p>TIA</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> Kind Regards R
