What is Bitcoins long-term solution to the power consumption problem?
<!-- SC_OFF --><div class="md"><p>Q: Does Bitcoin have any solution on the horizon to the power consumption problem?</p> <p>I know there’s lightning as an option but wasn’t sure if that’s considered a good solution to the power problem.</p> <p>Has there been any discussion of moving Bitcoin to POS?</p> <p>Or could we theoretically have people keep the original bitcoin in a wallet somewhere and trade a derivative of the wallet on a POS network like Cardano rather than trade the asset itself?</p> <p>Or have a I just re-invented what all this defi stuff is all about?</p> </div><!-- SC_ON --> Kind Regards R
