ETH fees are holding back Defi

As Defi evolved, fees were under 15 gwei making transactions similar to Cefi. However fees have gone to 85 gwei this week and make the complex Defi transactions much more expensive than Cefi.

Ex. I did a swap transaction that was $12 in ETH fees on top of the swap fee. I seriously considered sending to an exchange because it would have been much cheaper.

I hope ethereum can upgrade soon because defi projects are going to start looking for other blockchains and making copies of themselves elsewhere if the fees remain so high. They have so much to gain if network fees are low.

Kind Regards R
